Are you a full time artist?
Part Time
Who are your favourite 2 artists?
Xiaogang Zhu and Monet..Richard Robinson of course!
Do you have any goals for your painting?
yes! many. My style is shifting..my hand is being pulled into more "impasto" technique with gouache. I can see myself also being pulled towards acyrlics. I want to learn about atmosphere, and how to depict water And reflections. I also cater to Koi Clubs all over the world (portraits of koi).

Soon, I will have to take them down from the frames, and experiment with the pictures (set up, light, etc.) but sure I want to do it. Thanks for asking.
Thank you Sousahne - your comment is most appreciated!
We have had Koi and many other fish for over 12 years - your paintings capture their vibrant colours and graceful movements wonderfully. I particularly love YIN AND YANG!
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year - look forward to see more of your work!
I'm a novice oil painter, so I don't feel I have the knowledge to make comments....but I do have a Koi pond, and all your fish paintings capture their essence beautifully. I have only done one Koi painting, haven't posted it yet, the fish look like they are on top of the water instead of beneath it. I guess I should post it so you can give me suggestions.
Welcome to the complete painter. Thanks for looking at my columbine painting. (and liking it). I usually paint in watercolors. I'm still a novice in oils. This is a great site. Richard's workshops are great; Lots of helpful comments and advice.

Thanks Sousahne, I've removed those 2 spammers.
Thank you for looking at my work. Your koi paintings are beautiful. I like fish too, but I don't have a koi pond, just a aquarial in the house.
