I recently finished a portrait commissioned by a groom as a wedding present for his bride..her dad passed away when she was only four years old..the portrait was of her father. It was grueling because of the poor quality of reference photos..obviously, no digital photos..only faded Polaroids and a dis colored wedding album to go by....not to mention the pressure as this was such a sentimental gift!

Many, many attempts scratched and daily prayers to find the way to make this happen and it was finished on time.
The bride was overwhelmed ..I saw a video of her opening it!! Made me feel so happy to have been part of such a special gift.
