[Carla Whelan]

My name is Carla Whelan and I am a self taught artist.

I have painted lots in acrylics but I love oils best, even the smell!

I have been painting for about 10 years, but have not picked up a brush (to paint) in just about 12 months. I have tidied my art room, looked at lots of reference photos, cleaned brushes and stared at my blank canvas for many hours. Nothing worked.

I hope that joining your group will inspire me again. I have committed myself to the workshop so now there's no excuse, right?
