Hello everyone

Hi Guys thought I would say a big hello and introduce myself, Im 50yo in may and the past year have been busy painting....catching up to years of procrastination of not doing what I love to do ...paint.

Im a big fan of impressionism and Monet but love all styles, this year developing my own style and leaning towards rocks , the ocean and mountains .I love reflection and the way light catches on surfaces and colour.

This week I have started trying pastels and have enjoyed the instant result you get with layering and smudging...wonderful......a great way to learn to draw ...completely different from painting but not that different......anyway thats me for now...I look foward to meeting and talking to you all....oh and i live in Auckland NZ.
