I'm Mike. I've been specialising in portraits for some years now, with the odd landscape. The French Nineteenth Century artist Bouguereau has been a big influence on me since I think he was a fabulous paint technician with an amazing ability to paint skin. I was painting with oils for preference, but have switched to acrylics for social reasons. Maybe I'll get out and show you some of our beautiful Warwickshire villages.
