Hi,  I joined a couple of months ago, but have finally just started looking at the site.  I've never painted or drawn before 2 years ago when I took a small watercolor class.  I now prefer acrylics (so forgiving), and am looking forward to getting better and better.  I have a ways to go, so look forward to trying some of the workshops.  I work double shifts (for 8 months of the year), running my restaurant so do paint sporadically.  I'm looking forward to really getting serious, as I love to paint....just get frustrated....but will keep at it.  My "art studio" is the back of our restaurant, which is our buffet area.  So I already have the opportunity to be watched and critiqued by our customers who "catch" me painting.

Hi, I'm just going back through some of the new member posts and want to say congratulations on continuing to paint!  I hope you will find a way to do more of what you love in the future and maybe less work!!!  How you have the energy is beyond me.  :D
