Hi from Sydney, Australia

I started painting in 2001 after seeing Frank Clarke's "Simply Painting" TV show, but didn't start painting regularly until 2008. I started with watercolours but never really found a comfort zone with them, so I moved to oils and acrylics.

I've painted most types of subjects but I think my main interests would be portraits, figurative paintings (including nudes) and still life.

I've joined the painting challenge here to learn the process of deconstructing a painting subject before putting brush to canvas, and I'm already discovering how valuable a process it is.
