Introduction

Hi from Mark Coombe,

I live near Rockhampton in Central Queensland, Australia and am new to painting. I have been a professional photographer since 1988, I have always wanted to paint but have never had the courage I guess to take the first step. So here I am, just did my first workshop an enjoyed it very much. I cannot thank you enough Richard for the lessons etc.. that I have done over the past few months.

Anyway I look forward to continuing with this.

I noticed you gave a nice comment about my painting and I thank you very much. Since I hadn't seen your name before I looked you up. Welcome to Complete Artist and the workshops. I've only been oil painting a couple of years. It's very challenging with lots to learn. Your photography work will help you create some good compositions. I look forward to seeing more of your painting. I invite you to be my artist friend!

So glad you are stepping out to paint! I didn't have the courage for most of my life, and finally began at the age of 59. I'm so glad I did, and have been super gratified at what I have been able to accomplish in the past 7 years.

Hi Mary

Yes has taken me a while, but now I have been at it for 12 months I really enjoy it, looking back at what I started with it is encouraging to see quiet an improvement.
