I have just been approached by someone looking to buy one of my paintings (well asking if i have similar paintings to a particular one she likes I have done)

I've never sold a painting before so was just wondering what kind of price range to put on them and how to work out how much it should be worth.

The painting they enquired about was "Coldingham Bay" on my profile gallery, I have larger and smaller paintings but nothing really similar to the one they enquired about.

Hi Scott-You might want to check out the General Business section of the Wet Canvas Forum.  There are several threads there about how to price paintings.  You could also repost your own query as well and see what answers you get. Go to:
