What to do to improve

Something bugs me about this painting but cannot quite put my finger on it. Any suggestions please.

.It looks to me as if the centre building was taken from a photo closer up with a wide angle lens, and put into the painting. So the perspective looks odd. Of course it may actually be correct and just look like that.
