Great photo!  I've been working on trees lately, myself.  I'm going to give this one a go and I'll post if I'm not too ashamed of it.

Sometimes I like to take certain things from a couple of different photos and combine them for my composition. Botanicals are my favorite.

This is also a free reference photo of a 700 year old live oak tree that lives in my front yard. Enjoy and paint her well.
