Manneherrin glad you noticed the choppy water. I like some form of movement in my paintings. I want to capture a feeling of sorts. In regards to the hills, i'll probably will mess with it and add a dark wash and see what happens. Im not selling any of these so i can experiment. Happy Painting

oohh.. im diggin the choppy waters and the single strokes on the rocks.. the foothills need to be a little darker but all in all a great render

I really like your interpretation on this!  (I think I had this same idea -- wanting to make the bridge a bigger part of the scene to off-set that big ol' rock.)

I like this version the best! Love how you placed in the shadows in the water from the cliff and rocks and bridge.
