Ro...you are so kind! This is an old painting and when I look at it I see a lot of problems and things that I would do different if I were to repaint it. Although there are things about it that are good like the tiles and the towel, I don't think it would win any competitions. But I am sooooo happy that you like it!

I just found this again. My goodness. I am in total awwwwww. The background is amazing. The terry towel looks like terry cloth! Her face, her eyes, her hair over her eyes......geez this is so well done. I wish you could find some fancy competition to enter it in so you could win! I was going to put it in my fav, but - I had already put it in my favourites. Great work. Ro

I am taking all of them except the first one I painted (which is not posted) and the last one, which is "A Special Day" and giving them to her family next summer. It is time to get rid of some old art anyway to make room for the new.

Dani is my ex-husband's daughter's child, or what used to be my grandchild through marriage. I was there when she was born. It is a terrible loss to me to lose the kids and grandkids although we still stay in touch. They live in Italy right now as Lori is in the Airforce.

Thanks Ro. This is Dani again. Such a photogenic child. I painted her many times and have a hundred more pics I could paint but I can never sell them because her mom will not let me, so no need to paint to many more.
