Omer, I found this a while back and thought that you might enjoy watching. This guy is painting a single egg in oil. It is quite good to show the wide range of values. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYZ-D_0SL6w Your eggs do have a round appearance. For the intense darkness of the shadow you put, I would think the light side of the egg could have been brighter. Like the guy in the video, his light side of the egg was considerable. /// A while back I was messing with an egg painting, taking all sorts of photos. I was in a totally dark room with one bright spot light shining on the eggs that I wet to make the highlights show up. They are almost the same arrangement as yours. I really like having one light source when I do any kind of still life. I think the values show up good on this photo. It was white eggs, but the light made them appear yellow. You can use my photo if you would like to do another egg painting if the mood ever strikes you again. Ro

(JUST BETWEEN YOU AND ME THOUGH, I WAS INTIMIDATED ABOUT TRYING EGGS = SOMEHOW I KEPT WONDERING IF I COULD GIVE IT THAT DIMENSIONAL LOOK.)
