Thank you so much! I never thought about it that way...the story about the deer is funny. I definitely will continue to do my research...sometimes I research more than I paint, but I feel like I must become intimate with the subject before I can even begin painting.

Actually, I think you are just smart! Artist get in big trouble when they try to paint a subject they are not familar with! Long time ago I took a landscape photo and stuck a deer in it from another photo. Looked good to me. My nephew (great white hunter) said the deer has velvet on his antlers in the "wrong season"! Yikes! Moral of story.....do like you did and do enough research to know your subject or dont paint it cause it will come back to bite you! Good girl! Ro

I didn't know anything about golf actually, I just research endlessly for a project to make sure I get it just right...I guess I can be a little OCD.

Pretty funny. I bet he "thinks" he swings just like that......good form! LOL It is good you knew golf to help them out.

Thank you! This one was for a client who is a photographer and wanted something different for her husbands birthday. I kindly altered his swing unbeknown-st to them...I did not want his friends haggling him about poor form. :)
