Mike, as Nancy mentioned that "you did an excellent job on this."  About the shadow, I would paint it lighter and have some colour in it.  a photo quite often makes the shadow much darker than when we see it.  Just a view. Your truck head is beautifully done.  I love how you painted the foreground with nice texture.That cat is very interesting . But alll of all , I love your young chicken, She is so real and active, Superb!!!
