Thanks for the interesting comment Lawrence!  I used an image from the image library of 'New Masters Academy'  Maybe some of it is reflected light?  I still have a long ways to go for sure and I'm not even trying to capture the exact photo, just trying to get the drawing, structure and values down!  I do appreciate the comment!

Seems to be a little ambiguity as to the direction of the light source (but probably there is more than one).

Good structure and attitude and capture of expression with an economy of brushstrokes. I like it. Clearly you are very good with portraiture.
