After Fechin
This is my copy of a painting by the wonderful Russian artist, Fechin. I was keen to understand better his use of colour and his brushwork. I haven't been able to find the title.
It's in oil on 20x16in, 50x40cm canvas. Comments and critiques welcome.

Lovely painting Michael. I don't know this painting by Fechin, but you capture her eyes beautifully. A very few artists get this right (me included) to make the eyes soft without to many hard edges. Well done! PS - the other facial features are also beautifully done.
