Thanks Peter, I agree that it does look ok as it is, but I think a small amount of shadow in the foreground from a tree just out of the frame may have added a bit more depth to it, but hey, I didnt think of it at the time so I'll keep it in mind for next time but, I am stiil happy with this.

Hi Richard, Many thanks for your comments, I agree with you about the sky, it didn’t quite come off the way I intended. I was experimenting with producing a small Acrylic work that I would later do as a larger oil, I also think you have made a valid point re some shadow in the foreground, cant believe I missed that, I have made a note for when I redo it in oils. Pretty keen to tackle it soon.

Nice one Merv- just the sort of scene I've been wanting to paint lately. Beautiful color in the grass. Blue/orange setup my favorite. Maybe a shadow across the foreground and/or some more interest in the sky? Maybe not.
