Sherri, thanks so much for all your comments! The coffee warmer was a gift to my mother-in-law from my pop-in-law many, many years ago. I understand about space and collectables, when I put my house up for sale I had to store, donate a bunch of stuff, now in California waiting for me along with a bunch of other stuff. What I miss most is my assortment and stash of art supplies! When I was painting 13 years ago, it was all still life, from life. Moving in a different direction at the moment, but still love the inspired still life. And yeah, how appropriate is it for an artist to paint still life's of their equipment. Looking forward to your posting that one.

I used to have one of those coffee warmers..Princess house? ;) I need to try a few still life's. My problem is I don't collect stuff, I've moved around too many times,Lived in an RV twice, moved across the pacific to Hawaii and back twice, and hoping to do it again soon on a sail boat!
When you make a big move like that it forces you to clear out the clutter in your life, but it doesn't allow for having cool collectibles to paint. Moving around does allows for new inspiration form nature though. ;) Scratches chin.. I do have tons of art supplies, they follow me everywhere. still lifes of art supplies.. Hmmmm lol
