Remember Glenorchy was painted with oil on watercolour paper ! I don't think I will ever do that again. It responded like acrylics (which I don't care to use) but had it sketched out already, so decided to go with it instead of copying it to canvas. I may do it again on canvas because I do like the perspective. I had to get it in on time, so that is another reason why it's done on paper. But, I like the results!
Oil on Canvas Panal 9x12". Very surprised at all the colors you can get from just 3 primaries!
My first "backlit" painting. The colors may be a bit vibrant, and the rooster a bit large.
