Hi, Montalvo. I've had real problems with atmospheirc perspective - people kept criticizing me for not doing it ;D - probaly I'll overdo it the other way next!!! LOL  It's important to get depth - one of the things figurative painting is about - making a 2D surface look 3D. So much to learn!

Hmmm...really studying this one from what Ningning said, "from warm to cool." I got to keep that in mind. Very well done. I like that touch of land wayyy in the back.

Thanks, Ningning, - you've got a keen eye to spot what I was trying to do   ;(    ;D   kind of ya' - hey, show you know what you're doing :)

Apart from other good things you did. I enjoy the tempreture of colour change from warm to cool ti the background. You handled it very naturally. I also love those details you did to make the painting more flaver. Very good work.

Love the warm colors and the blue green of the water

Thanks, David. You know, I always study these workshops hard - and I always seem to get close to what I want to do and miss it!! Maybe I should "study" em less "hard"!

NIce Painting Jon! I think I like this version better the other. It has a more "warmer' feel to it.
