Watercolour on Saunders Waterford paper. The first painting in the Amaryllis Series won the 'Duchess of Abercorn Award for Outstanding Work', at the 2010 Ulster Society of Women Artists Annual Exhibition.
This painting, the second in the Amaryllis Series, was one of a number of works which gained me membership to the Watercolour Society of Ireland [WCSI] earlier this year.

Thank you Sandra - even more, thank you for 'switching' me onto Lyn Diefenbach! I have just spent 25 minutes wandering around her website.... WOW, you are absolutely right, that IS my kind of work. Lyn is a wonderfully talented artist but what blows me away even more, is the size of each painting.
Hi Ro..... long time no chat! Thank you so much for your kind words - sorry I've been away from the website for so long. Between getting ready for various exhibitions, a few commissions and, of course, preparing for submission to the WCSI [had to have 13 works!!], there hasn't been much extra time. Plus my Mum had major surgery earlier in the year and I was taking care of her [she has made a full recovery].
What have you been up to?
Edith.
