Version 2 of this painting - thanks for helpful critiques from Carolyn & Jon on previous version - trying to apply the lessons of the workshop to invent light & make this more dramatic than the photo was.

Yep, really liking it - it feels more 'grounded' - more real, in fact - got a nice narrative going on here

Dor, what a lovely comment; thank you!  Jerusalem is called "the city of gold", so thought it was an appropriate subject for this workshop on golden, glowing light!

First time to see and this is stunningly beautiful.  You have put a lot of thought in this painting and you certainly have done well to show off what you have learned about light.  Smiles coming you way................
