Another tiny still life..... Milk jug from an opp shop!
I love the 17 century still life's treatment of texture and light, with this painting I try to create depth by painting extreme shadows. I think the old wooden shelf with bits of painting dripping is quite successful since I approached it in an abstract manner rather than photo realistic. All done in Cobra water mixable oils.
