Hi Lyndon, Triptychs are as easy to do, as any longish or panoramic painting. That one is 26"x8" and is a 10x8 with a 6x8 at each end and is small for a panorama. I used duck tape to join them to paint. There is no reason why you can't just paint a panorama any size and cut it up later. Just adjust your composition so that there is a separate composition in each panel i.e. a main focal point and a secondry focal in the other two.  It's amazing how big the whole lot gets when you frame it. The main drawback is the cost of framing. That is where a drop saw a can of gold spay paint some varnish and a router come in handy. Then find a timber shop that makes skirting boards. It's cheaper and more duable than traditional plaster formed mouldings, Terry

Terry, is it very difficult to do tripytics?

How do you maintain the same values etc?

Do you work on the 3 panels simaltaneouly?

However, you did it, you did a beaut job!
