Master Class Atmospheric Perspective in oils. I've learned an unbelievable amount of quality instruction from this course. I've been painting for many years and had some fairly good courses in Junior college, but this is a whole new technique to approach creating a painting. Not just choose a picture you like and paint it but actually understand the process so you can choose better images to paint from or create your own based on sound color knowledge, composition, lighting and more. The method of Richard teaches to systematically mix all your colors before you paint is tedious but worth it. I am much more organized-planning the painting in advance has enabled me to improve my paintings very rapidly. I'm happier with my results now.

Yes Mario, it is alla prima and I followed Richards lesson exactly. Of course, it doesn't compare to his work but thanks for the compliments and to you as well Dorian. Happy painting!

Very well done!  I just watched the Master Class Video and I am going to try and mix my colors in advance.  Richard knows what he is doing and is a great teacher.  I am just a very slow learner.........Smiles coming your way: ))
