Mountain pathway

The Fagaras Mountains (also called "the Romanian Alps"), reach high altitudes in offering wonderful views and landscape. Here one can drive on the Transfagarasan, the most spectacular road in Romania. My painting was inspired from the backround of the Balea the clacial lake with its crystal green-blue water. Here is the place where the fog and clouds make the picks endless, cover the rocks with a misty envelop, which mysteriously open a window on the world below, where the green meadows are bathed in sunshine. The hills are sweet grassy and gently slopes to a territory of an intensive pastoral life.

The more so as the places I am describing are linked to my country's beauty. And I try to use these images to build something which one can't see with his eyes but with hes imagination. That's why, sometimes they are not as realistic as apear.

I had a look again at your paintings and photos and must recognize that yours Gap and Tranquility works better with the realism than mine. Gap Dunloe -National park seams to inspire all your art? You must poste other theme too couse I am sure you have what to show. Paint on happy!
