This elderly gentleman was hurrying home with a baguette tucked under his arm, sticking to the shady side of the street on a hot August day. We had just seen him in the boulangerie choosing his bread for the day. Across the street is a Citroen, full of charm & character. Any suggestions for improvement welcomed!

Thank you Silvana! You're right, I tried to apply the lessons of that workshop here - it wasn't so easy to make the shadowed side of the street dark enough & I'm not sure it is yet. I think the photo is making it a bit lighter than it is too. These little village streets are so beautiful.
Jessica! This is wonderful! Reminds me of the street ws! What a lovely place you've been to!
