This is an 11'x14' oil on canvas plein air painting that I did for workshop37. I really tired to keep in mind to simplify some of the areas (in particular the background) which I believe helped to make a stronger piece. Lucky enough to get some Fall plein air work in before the leaves all fall.

The composition is great with the little path's purpulie shadows taking us into the painting. Love the color with balanced lights and darks. Beautiful painting !
