Hi Britt.  Yes.  I do know the book and the show as well.  The resource photo just spoke to me of needing sheep.  I've worked on the painting more as I was not happy with it but like it much better now.  Guess I should take another photo and post the revised edition.

This lovely painting makes me think of the book (and old TV show based on the book), All Creatures Great and Small.  Do you know it?
