"Bamboo in green light."

I never tire of painting the bamboo that grows along the creek on our property, because its colours change with the light. It was originally planted by Captain Louis Hope in the 1860s, not long after Queensland was declared a State. Captain Hope grew the first sugar cane in Queensland, and possibly in Australia.
