Can you tell I love old barns and flowers? One of the many blessings of living in the country.

Thank you for the comments! I thought about a path when I saw it hanging on the wall at the fair. I appreciate the critique. I need it and value it. Right now my only truthful commentary comes from my grandchildren!

I love old barns too

The subtleness of this painting is very captivating, however, the flowers in the front stop the eye dead in it's tracks so it makes it quite difficult to jump over them into the rest of this quite beautiful scene. I would suggest taking them out and instead create an "s" shaped flowered path of much smaller daisies that start a bit larger the yellow daisies and get smaller as they receed using white daisies mixed with some of the yellow. Then I would create some type of window on that barn and something on top that breaks that line of the roof so your eye rests on the barn a bit more. Hope you don't mind the critique but I see a great painting here.
