Wonderful work Frank! Love everything about it!
thanks for the kind words. I stumbled on this site, explored a bit then decided to join. I am working on the latest workshop painting and hope to post my work soon.
Happy to belong to this group.
Nice work Frank! Love the reflections in the tin can and how the back round leaves fade into the shadows.Pansies.grapes..beautiful.
Hello Frank, nice to meet you and your Pansies and tin can are beautiful! I tried painting them once and I think they are difficult. Thank you so much for joining us.
Smiles coming you way. : ))
Ah yes...dear old Bob Ross. He was inspiration for many of us! I had painted for a bit over 3 years before I allowed life to intervene for almost 13 years. Enjoying the return and the journey all of us share.
Thank you Carolyn for the comments. I am not a still life only painter, I just haven't posted other work yet. I started painting just over three years ago with Bob Ross wet on wet painting. I continued with lessons from Wilson Bickford (check him out on you tube) also wet on wet. These paintings were a departure from there with Daniel Edmondson, also on you tube. I am hoping to progress further with Richard's influence as I search for my own style.
Oh yes, and welcome...we are glad to have you ( =
This is beautiful, Frank...I agree with Carolyn...this is definitely my favorite. very nicely done ( =
I would frame this in a minute!
Welcome to Complete Artists community, Frank. I just enjoyed viewing all of the work you've posted and this little piece is my fav. Love the composition and your color choices. All of your painting appeals to me as-a-prior-to-CA strictly still-life artist (and one who is just now returning to her art). All well done.
