I just got my Nikon a few days ago, will have to play with it then!  Just automatically reverted back to the Olympus. It is right on with color...but is very temperamental when taking pictures, zooms in and out...drives me crazier!

Never thought about taking in shadow!  Shot outside and then inside with daylight bulbs....thanks for the tip!

Lol Candi! I wonder when I'll get a new camera... there are so many other priorities... and as a matter of fact, I do have a Nikon Coolpix. I take the pics in auto and in the shadow. I also take them w the White Balance in sunny day or cloudy day according to the weather conditions... and try with vivivid colours...so before I upload a pic, I choose between 10.... and still check the temp and autocontrast to make it as close as the real one as possible! But I'm not always successful.... perhaps I should study a bit of photography...!!!! :) !!!

Silvana, I just purchased a new Nikon P7800, and the color was so off when I photographed my latest submission that I had to revert back to my old Olympus.  So, good luck with your new purchase of a camera!
