Thanks, Tammy. I really appreciate your comments and thanks for the info on the rocks. I didn't know there was a specific name for this type of weathering.
I love the rocks in your painting - I have seen them on Hornby island. Those pockmarked structures are called tafoni or honeycomb weathering - so beautiful.
