thank you Xiao.   And Lawrence - thanks for your comment  - I understand what you mean but I can't do anything about it now as the painting sold.  in fact, the lady who bought it contacted me through my local art society to say how thrilled she was with it - and please don't feel horrible as you mention - this is where we all get help and encouragement and I for one really appreciate it.

This is absolutely beautifully done Glenys.

A suggestion? The orange, while exceptionally well painted, and possibly chosen for its colour (complementary to the blues of the jug, leaves and wall) really makes its presence known and, to me, tends to detract a bit from an otherwise beautifully serene and harmonious picture. I would personally prefer something a bit less dominant, or perhaps if it was cast in shadow so the orange colour wasn't so bright ... ?

I feel horrible saying that because it's a beautiful painting (as are all of your paintings) and I like it very much!

Glenys, your paintings are so beautiful! Everyone of them is so delightful, happy and colorful. I love them all.
