Awesome!
I love the soft peaches and purples and how you have done the foliage Ann
Ann that is what I love so much about your work! Thank you for sharing your palette. You know how to make your colours Sing with your brush strokes! Smiles to you ;-)
Thanks Ian and Dor for looking and commenting ! Ian my palette (I think) was Ult Blue,Cad yellow light,Alizarin Crimson and white. Then I added the secondaries Diox purple, Burnt sienna and Viridian. I tend to like purple, orange, green combinations in paintings. I didn't put more light on the roof because I wanted the viewer to stay in the focal area of the boat with shadow taking the viewer down into the water. I like the water this time and have been working on water that looks clean and clear. I studying Michael S painting because he is the water magic man and hope to learn from him. I also studied Janes painting for this workshop and borrowed her peachy/purplie bank ! Lots of great artists to learn from on this site ! Thanks everyone !
Oh how lovely this is! Very beautiful Ann. Smiles to you ;-)
