Thank you Christine ..not sure why it is not more violet must be the way I mixed the colours.

In keeping with the workshop 27 on colour harmony...I used the wave photo and added the small rocks and the gulls for interest sake. I was surprised at the range of values I was able to achieve with the limited palette of greying down. . I used cad yellow and cad red to make my orange tones. Then I used the blue\ green compliment to tone down the 2 sets of greys. I have no idea why it looks different than and not more violet. I just went with the flow ( pun intended ).
