This little painting has gotten more attention then any of the others and honestly, I only brought it out of the studio because I needed some new work to update my website. I didn't feel that it was finished. It won a couple of awards so far. Go figure. It's done more like a watercolor than oil. Very thin layers of paint wet into wet. The bubbles were done after the background was completely dry. I had to paint 3 more very large ones to take with me to China. One exactly like this one as close as I could get and then a blue one and green one. The blue one is my favorite, but it's still in China with the other large ones. I still have this one with me.

Peg, not only did you give each bubble a 3D effect, but the overall painting looks as if you could reach deep inside all the way past where the bubbles are. There is so much debth. So amazing that effect. I like this one a lot. Ro
