Kim, thank heavens you commented. Now I can at least try and rescue this post? It was a slip of my finger and before I could do anything, off the photo goes and there seems to be nothing I could do to stop it, change it, edit it or whatever. So now I will have to explain.
This is a tiny 4cm x 5cm magazine clipping given to me by a friend suggesting I paint this at a time that I wanted to learn about vanishing points. I have no idea who painted it originally. (Now I am in trouble on top of it!!! sorry Peter......)
Anyway, it was a HUGE learning curve as far as vanishing points are concerned and the painting is not done yet. Because I can't figure out what is going on in the centre/middle of the tiny picture, I left it all out, but now it seems bland, as if something missing. I don't really see a focus point, and thought whatever I add could become that focus point. Right in the middle? Don't know.
Since I am at the deep end here, I might as well ask: any suggestions please.
