.I have added this photo here as I really need help with this one, I did it a year ago and feel my work has improved, having said that I realise fully I am still very new to acrylics, and there is so much I need to learn. Something about this that is not quite right Lots really, hoping to get INSPIRATION, as I think it could be OK, and I intend to do a series of these, as they are very popular here. I have done a bit more to it since this photo though picked the wrong one. Also I varnished it, Is is ok to paint over the varish?Rate:

Hi Maylon,
You are asking what we see - it is very hard to be truly accurate as all monitors vary in color.
From my monitor the sky looks perhaps a little too intense; the chroma could be knocked back a little with a glaze of the complimentary; though I love the hint of the Cirus clouds moving in.
I take it that the horses are the main feature - if so, I would use a little artistic license to re-arrange the flotsam on the beach; directing it, so it leads the eye toward the horses.
Hope this is somewhere near what you were asking me.

Hi Maylon, I like the picture. I'm self-taught and still learning every day - so no expert here - but perhaps the edges of the two closer mountains/rock formations might be a bit sharp.
