Thank you Ningning and Dorian. Have a happy weekend!
Roberta this is a delightful painting. I love your colors and loose brushwork. Sending smiles your way : ))
Roberta, I love your color too. It is beautiful. About the observation Linda mentioned, I have the same view with her. If I were you, I may try to limit the white of the reflection on the water to pieces so that the viewer would not follow that white route too quickly to the end of the scene. This is not an easy one. You did a good job. Welcome to join us and happy painting.
Lovely colour Roberta
Lovely!
I noticed that you said this is your first workshop...so WELCOME!!! I've only been painting a couple of years and have a lot to learn. This is my 2nd workshop. I like your painting. You have a variety of good loose brushstrokes and I think you've even put in some splattering in the foreground. The only feedback, for what it's worth, is that my eyes quickly move up the painting and get stuck by the people. What you want is for the viewer to "stroll" through the painting to see your different areas of interest. Have fun painting. I submitted one painting and now I'm in the process of learning and trying again. But I love a challenge and enjoy the brush in my hand!
