Wow, thanks Richard, those changes make a big difference!  The toned down greens lead the eye up to the cliff and anchors the cliff. The little change on top of the cliff pulls the whole thing together and taking the detail out of the bush at the side; graying the land in the distance....and the subtle change to the water in the background....makes a huge difference!  That's why I love your workshops, we all learn so much!

I really like your greens and the way you have painted your foliage. it's a very nice painting Susan.  It's always interesting to leave them on so that we can see your progression through the painting :-}}
