A beautiful painting and an effective composition. But I have a question regarding the colour of the water -- I do not live by the ocean, unlike a lot of you, lucky artists, so I really do not know how the colours get reflected in it! With such dark gray sky, can the water still have this deep blue shade? Or is it an invisible gap in the clouds, somewhere above this spot, with a bit of the blue sky and sunshine coming through?

Wow! Beautiful. Full of atmosphere. Love the water. The composition works really well, taking your eye through the picture. Well done,
