Alyson, thank you. But this one, I have to tell you the turth, is I painted not only from Richard's photo but also followed the way how he paint from the same photo. Although I got some of my own stuffs there, basicly is an imitation of Richard's work. I found out that it was a very good way to learn from masters, during the procedure many questions and answers occured, very interesting. You may try one day.
Thanks, Ruby.
LOVE IT !!!
Ngaire, You are so nice , thank you.
Beautiful and vibrant work again Li, I sure could use some of your talent.
Thanks Deodanda!
Richard, coming from you, I am flattered. Thanks for your encouragement. During the procedure of interpretation of this scene under your guidness, I realized how much that you have to think about from the composition to value and colour, all those details beyond my imagination. Without your lead, I would not be able to do something even close to this one.
Great work Li, I prefer the light in yours to my one.
Dee, Big hug for you. I will be careful next time. By the way, I had made another mistake today. I finished my 2nd Grand Canyon study and was so happy about it. As I noticed that some areas were dull I used retouch spray to make them even . But I was in rush and spraid too near to the canvas. Then I found my oils were running like watercolour . I ruined my work . So frustrated. Tomorrow I will repaint it. That is the difference between experienced hands and green one.
