For Marie-Andrée Houle,

To give you serenity,

A young woman who is suffering from multiple sclerosis asked through my mother if I would do a painting for her in a very little frame that she have and cherish a lot in those words " I would like to be able to have a little freedom smell and it would be the last precious thing that I would bring with me if they do not find a cure soon".

I then decided that I would paint this miniature for her and as I am not a great seascape painter, I made a few drawings and then this is the result. I was amazed at the result because I saw it only after I took the picture and I clipped it in my photo program - A gentle looking and caring eye.

Oil paint 3.5" x 5" on Canson canvas paper.
