Thanks for taking the time to comment. Yes, the light, movement and different kinds of brushwork. I found this challenge hard. I'd never used paint as thick as the focal point before. And this was my first big sea. Calmer seas are easier! I learnt a lot through the process of doing it even though I wasn't pleased with the result.

Lovely translucent light. This scene is so difficult to achieve. You never know what will be the result. You did it very well! Thought this is what you intended? George

Thanks. I agree about the splash. Funny how when doing it I didn't notice this at all and yet soon as you say this, i think yes, there does need more connection. I'm not standing back enough, me thinks!

love your light and dark contrasts The movement in the water is great I personally would like  more connection of the big splsh with the water below. good job well done from an armchair critic this workshop
