11x14 oil on board, I very much followed Richard's video step by step. The original version probably is better. I think I will have to remove the yellow from the side of front cliff. It is a very challenge workshop.

Great colour, drawing and bold brushwork Laura. You're right about the yellow.

Montalvo, Thank you so much for stopping and commenting! I am glad you mentioned these areas. I agree with you and I noticed that too. I will consider to tone down little bit once I have chance.  Thank you again.

Two things Laura (for me) is your signature. I look at the painting and my eye is drawn to your signature. Maybe tone it done some?? It's flashing red. The other is the red paint on the mountain ( 3 dabs of red??) and on the bottom on the sand need to be toned down also.

Beautiful painting, Laura. I didn't paint this scene due to a heavy travel schedule but your excellent work has inspired to paint it later.  You might want to soften the line in the sand because my eye is drawn to it first rather than the wonderful work on the cliff.  Great job!!

Lori, I agree with you! With one of my paintings I did a few months ago, I wasn't very happy with one area, but I didn't know the reason or how to enhance it. I put it away and moved on. Just a few days ago, I saw the painting again, and I liked it very much. I couldn't even tell which part bothered me at all before.
