Lioness

I did this using a reference photo I took many years ago at the San Diego Zoo. I used acrylics to paint the abstract background, then used oil pastels to create the lioness, finishing with the grasses in acrylics. I am really happy with the softness of the lioness amid the preciseness of the acrylics.
